For the last few years we've been lucky enough to be chosen as an installation services provider for a large project involving installation of many wall murals at 3 buildings of main Bell GTA campus. 12 floors in total and many thousands feet of vinyl that was mostly installed during night shifts.
The tricky part of this work was constant coordination between the printing company in Philladelphia PA and the local Toronto contractors to make sure we were installing the vinyl when the walls were actually ready and prepped for this type of graphics.
Despite some hickups along the way, we are very happy with the project.
High-end offices require special accents to make them look both high-end and at the same time cozy and comfortable for the people who work there.
Recently we've been contracted by a company specializing in office furniture and fixtures to install a series of full coverage murals and graphics on their walls.
we used 3M IJ180 vinyl for this application because it will guarantee that the graphics won't start peeling over time.
The application was done professionally and the office was completely transformed.
Sometimes you don't want to go with full walls vinyl mural coverage to achieve a great looking space. here we have a great example of this situation. We installed some permanent vinyl on walls in a big warehouse for the team to get a sense of relationship to a big company that cares.
Vinyl used for the project was permanent Avery with matte lamination. Installation was a bit challenging since there were a lot of obstructions in the way on the floor and we didn't have a lift.
Yet it was all performed fast and clean. Vinyl graphics installations at the end is absolutely the best thing that we do.
this is one of many high profile installs that we are pretty proud to be a part of. Nike was running this big event at a new building on Porter St. in Toronto. We had to install temporary floor graphics about 400 sq.ft. in size and bar graphics to transform the place. The trick as usual is doing it alongside a bunch of other contractors in a setting that is not too favourable for floor vinyl.
We have a trick though for this type of installation - bring a portable vacuum cleaner to get rid of all the sand and dust on the floor before applying the film. This is extremely important here because the vinyl is gloss black. Any installer knows that nothing shows uneven spots like gloss black film.
With 3 guys we handled this project beautifully in under 3 hours. The client was happy and the even was a success!
